Centrifugal Pumps
MCP Series - Armored Thermoplastic Mag Drive Centrifugals Top of Page

The Most Rugged Thermoplastic Mag-Drive Centrifugal Pump Available!

MCP Series Pump

Like lined centrifugal pumps, the volute of the MCP Series of end suction centrifugal pumps is protected by cast iron armor. Unlike lined pumps that are rotationally molded with plastic wall thicknesses of 1/4", the MCP Series is machined from solid plastic with wall thicknesses up to 3/4". Permeability through these thicker walls is non-existent.

MCP Keying MCP Keying

The impeller shaft is composed of alpha grade silicon carbide. It is chemically and mechanically superior to aluminum oxide. The oversized shafting minimizes bending stresses. It also permits keying of the impeller and the inner magnet assembly for ease of assembly.

MCP Impeller Shaft Competition      MCP Series

The MCP Series is contructed with a dual rear casing. The outer shell is reinforced with carbon fibers for added strength. This design affords additional protection against over-pressurization.

Dimensionally built to ANSI B73.1 specifications for interchangeability, these pumps permit back pull-out disassembly.

MCP pumps are available in PVDF construction.

Standard Materials of Construction - MCP Series Top of Page

The standard material of construction of the MCP Series is PVDF (A Fluoropolymer)

Materials of construction for the Polypropylene pump are as follows:

Housing PVDF
Impeller PVDF
Inner Magnet PVDF
Rear Casing ETFE (TEFZEL A Fluoropolymer) With Carbon Fiber Reinforced Outer Shell
Shaft Silicon Carbide (Alpha Grade)
Thrust Washers Silicon Carbide (Alpha Grade)
Bearings Silicon Carbide (Alpha Grade)
O-Rings VITON

MCH Series - Machined Thermoplastic Mag Drive Centrifugal Pumps Top of Page

MCH Series Pump

Unlike typical injection molded mag drive centrifugal pumps, the MCH Series is machined from solid bar stock. This enables obtaining wall thicknesses that are much greater than injection molded pumps, with thicknesses approaching 3/4". The rugged design of these pumps permits flowrates ranging over 450 GPM and heads over 180'.

MCH Bar Stock

Integral 150# ANSI configured flanges are available on all sizes, while NPT threaded ports are also featured on the smaller models.

MCH Series pumps are available in polypropylene and PVDF (A Fluoropolymer) construction.

The standard material of construction of the MCH Series is either polypropylene or PVDF (A Fluoropolymer).

Materials of construction for the polypropylene pump are as follows:

Housing Polypropylene
Impeller Polypropylene
Inner Magnet Polypropylene
Rear Casing Polypropylene
Shaft 99.7% Silica Free Aluminum Oxide
Thrust Washers 99.7% Silica Free Aluminum Oxide
Bearings Carbon-filled TEFLON®
O-Rings EPDM

Materials of construction for the PVDF pump are as follows:

MC-SP Series - Machined Thermoplastic Self-Priming Mag Drive Centrifugal Pumps Top of Page

MC-SP Series Pump

The MC-SP Series share the same basic features and materials of construction as the MCH pumps, with the addition of a self-contained, self-priming pump casing. No longer is flooded suctiion necessary to start up a centrifugal pump.

M Series - Injection Molded Plastic Mag Drive Pumps Top of Page

M Series Pump

M Series pumps are designed to be more rugged than other injection molded pumps. Thicker wall construction reduced the need for ribbing required in competitive pumps and improves chemical resistance. A larger diameter shaft reduces bending stresses. The oversized thrust washer minimizes wear from axial loading.

M Series Casing      Competition                M Series

M Series pumps utilize a modular construction for the impeller and magnet assembly. If the impeller (less expensive component) is damaged, a new impeller can be reassembled to the existing magnet. With a unitized construction found in most competitive models, the entire assembly is replaced, even though the magnet is sound.

M Series Assembly

M Series pumps mount to standard NEMA C FACE motors, including UL recognized explosion proof motors. Optional high torque magnet couplings permit pumping higher specific gravity liquids than competitive pumps allow.

M Series pumps are available in Polypropylene and PVDF (A Fluoropolymer) construction.
